RESPONSIBILITIES
- Design, develop, and maintain scalable backend services for key components of the Xsolla platform.
- Architect and evolve microservices-based systems to support large-scale, high-performance operations.
- Implement and optimize database structures and queries for maximum efficiency and reliability.
- Ensure high availability, performance, and fault tolerance across distributed services.
- Lead efforts to improve CI/CD pipelines, deployment processes, and system observability.
- Conduct code reviews, mentor team members, and foster a culture of engineering excellence.
- Collaborate closely with product, frontend, and DevOps teams to deliver reliable and innovative solutions.
- Drive continuous improvement through automation, testing, and proactive system monitoring.
- Stay ahead of industry trends, adopting emerging technologies to enhance platform capabilities.
REQUIREMENTS
- 3+ years of professional experience in in backend development (with Go).
- Proven experience in designing and maintaining microservices architectures.
- Strong background in SQL and NoSQL databases, with hands-on experience in query optimization.
- In-depth knowledge of RESTful APIs, event-driven systems, and asynchronous communication patterns.
- Practical experience with Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD automation.
- Solid understanding of software design principles, OOP, and clean architecture.
- Familiarity with testing frameworks (e.g., Jest, Mocha, or similar) and monitoring tools (e.g., Prometheus, Grafana).
- Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments with cross-functional teams.
- Strong communication skills, leadership qualities, and a proactive, ownership-driven mindset.
- Proficiency in English for technical communication and documentation.
Nice to Have
- Experience with Go frameworks such as Gin, Echo, or Fiber.
- Familiarity with GraphQL or gRPC.
- Background in distributed systems, caching layers, or message queues (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).
- Exposure to gaming, fintech, or digital asset platforms.
