As a Back End PHP Developer, you will be instrumental in maintaining and enhancing our critical backend systems.
You'll work closely with Product Managers to translate business needs into technical solutions and collaborate with the Infrastructure team to ensure robust, scalable, and high-performing applications.

Responsibilities:
Design, develop, and maintain highly performant, scalable, and secure PHP applications for our core backend engine.
Collaborate directly with Product Managers to understand requirements, define technical specifications, and deliver solutions that align with product goals.
Work closely with the Infrastructure team to optimize application performance, troubleshoot issues, and ensure seamless deployment and operation.
Lead by example in writing clean, well-documented, and testable code.
Mentor and guide junior developers, fostering a culture of technical excellence and continuous improvement.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and ensure adherence to best practices.
Identify and implement opportunities for system optimization, refactoring, and technical debt reduction.
Stay current with emerging PHP trends and technologies, recommending and implementing relevant advancements.
Requirements:
Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering or other relevant field.
7+ years of experience as a backend Developer in a professional environment, with a significant focus on PHP.
Proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects and demonstrating measurable impact on product performance or stability.
Deep expertise in non-framework development and object-oriented programming principles.
Familiarity with cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure), containerization (e.g., Docker) and Salesforce is a plus.
Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to debug complex issues efficiently.
Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively collaborate with technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Self-motivated and proactive, with a strong desire to learn and grow.
