About the Project
We are seeking a highly motivated intern to support a strategic study focused on optimizing temporary staff manning and improving operational processes. The intern will work closely with the project lead to analyze existing work processes and flows, evaluate existing staffing models, identify improvement opportunities, and support the development of recommendations that enhance efficiency, service quality, and cost effectiveness.
This is an excellent opportunity for a student or recent graduate interested in operations, supply chain, workforce planning, industrial engineering, business analytics, or process improvement.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES :
Temporary Staff Manning Analysis
- Collect and consolidate workforce and staffing-related data from different departments.
- Analyze temporary staffing demand, utilization, and productivity
- Support workforce planning and manpower forecasting activities.
- Identify gaps between staffing requirements and current staffing models.
- Benchmark staffing practices and industry standards where applicable.
Process Improvement
- Map existing operational processes and workflows.
- Conduct process observations and stakeholder interviews.
- Identify bottlenecks, inefficiencies, and improvement opportunities.
- Apply Lean, Continuous Improvement, or related methodologies to analyze processes.
- Support development of future-state process designs and recommendations.
Data Analysis & Reporting
- Perform quantitative and qualitative analysis using Excel and other analytical tools.
- Develop dashboards, reports, and presentations to communicate findings.
- Track project milestones and document study outcomes.
- Prepare management-ready recommendations and final study report.
Stakeholder Collaboration
- Coordinate with managers, operational teams, staffing agencies, and other stakeholders.
- Facilitate data gathering sessions and workshops when required.
- Present findings and recommendations to project sponsors.
Deliverables: At the end of the internship, the intern is expected to deliver:
Current-state assessment of temporary staffing processes. Workforce demand and utilization analysis. Process maps highlighting improvement opportunities. Recommendations for staffing optimization and process improvements. Final presentation and executive summary of findings.
