About The Role

The Corporate Development Analyst supports Volta's strategic initiatives, including fundraising, M&A, and partnership evaluation.

This role works closely with senior leadership to analyze market opportunities, build financial models, and support the execution of strategic transactions that shape Volta's growth.

What You Will Be Doing

  • Build and maintain financial models to evaluate potential transactions, partnerships, and strategic initiatives

  • Conduct market research and competitive analysis to support strategic decision-making

  • Support due diligence processes for M&A, financings, and partnership opportunities

  • Prepare materials and analysis for board meetings, investor updates, and leadership discussions

  • Track and analyze industry trends in AI infrastructure, data centers, and energy markets

  • Collaborate with Finance, Legal, and business teams to gather data and support transaction execution

  • Assist with post-transaction integration and performance tracking

  • Support ad hoc strategic analyses requested by senior leadership

What You Bring

  • 2+ years of experience in investment banking, private equity, consulting, or corporate development

  • Strong financial modeling and analytical skills

  • Bachelor's degree in finance, economics, business, or related field

  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills

  • High attention to detail and ability to manage multiple workstreams under deadline pressure

  • Proficiency in Excel and PowerPoint; familiarity with data analysis tools a plus

  • Interest in AI infrastructure, data centers, or energy markets

  • Ability to work effectively with senior stakeholders in a fast-paced environment
