Healthcare is changing, and local medical practices are caught in the middle. They are trying to shift from a system that rewards the volume of procedures to one that rewards the quality of patient care—but navigating that shift is incredibly tough. That’s where you come in.
As our Account Manager, you will be the ultimate strategic partner, business coach, and advocate for the medical practices in your portfolio. You are the day-to-day anchor of these relationships, responsible for diving into the data, identifying performance gaps, and working hand-in-hand with doctors and healthcare executives. By helping them master Value-Based Care (VBC) contracts, you directly drive financial success (shared savings) and, most importantly, measurably better health outcomes for the community.
Note on Travel: On-site check-ins are key to this role. You can expect to travel in-person approximately 1x per month per account for 2–3 days (supporting accounts in Northern California and the Seattle, Washington area). Exact schedules flex based on client needs, meaning some months may feel lighter or heavier than others.
Location Requirement: This is a remote role, but candidates must be based on the West Coast (preferably within driving distance or short regional flight access to Northern California or the Seattle, WA area) to accommodate monthly client visits.
Primary Duties:
Relationship Management
Minimum Qualifications:
5 years of experience with executive level communication - written and verbal
Demonstrated knowledge of value based care contracts across all patient types
Minimum 6-8 years of experience with relevant competencies including practice management, project management, account management, analytical problem solving, and strategic insight using healthcare analytical skills.
Ability to be at an onsite location anticipated 3-4 days a week in Shreveport, Louisiana (subject to practice needs).
Preferred KSA's:
Graduate of an accredited college or university in nursing, social work, health technology or information technology-related programs. 8 years of significant and relevant work experience in medical practice management in lieu of educational requirements may be accepted, particularly with significant administrative experience in a clinic setting.
Excellent organizational and project management skills, and team-building skills.
Familiarity with process mapping and work-flow analysis tools.
Advanced PowerPoint/slides, Excel/sheets, and other data visualization skills and willingness to learn additional software applications.
Physical Requirements:
Sitting for prolonged periods of time. Extensive use of computers and keyboard. Occasional walking and lifting may be required.
This is a remote position requiring the ability to complete approximately 20–25% annual regional travel for multi-day visits to partner sites across Northern California and the Seattle, WA area.
