We’re looking to add a few members to our team of scientists and engineers, who obsess over creating the most powerful AI models for antibody discovery, and turning them into products that can transform how medicines are made.

About the role

We’re looking for a highly driven leader to be our Account Executive for Partnerships. As the day-to-day owner of active partnerships, you will shepherd deals from late-stage negotiation through launch and long-term execution. Your focus is removing roadblocks, aligning internal and external teams, and ensuring that each collaboration delivers on its scientific and commercial milestones.

At Chai, we’re entering a pivotal stage. After years of foundational R&D, our models are moving beyond protein structure prediction and into real-world therapeutic engineering. We're now tasking our AI models on a broad spectrum of drug development challenges, at an exciting scale of wet-lab validation.

This is not a typical role — it’s a chance to push the boundaries of drug discovery by building some of the most advanced AI drug design models ever built.

About you

We’re seeking a proven leader with a deep desire to bring this frontier technology into the pharma landscape. You should have:

Customer-facing experience:

  • 3-5 years in partnership management, strategic accounts, or enterprise SaaS sales, ideally within biotech, CRO, or life-science tooling

  • Track record exceeding quota / renewal targets by driving value for complex, multi-stakeholder accounts

Relationship & project skills:

  • Strong communicator able to switch fluently between scientists, executives, and procurement teams

  • Skilled at identifying expansion opportunities based on partner feedback and milestone achievements

  • Familiar with basic contract-lifecycle management systems

Execution & problem-solving:

  • Comfortable mapping decision makers, drafting action plans, and escalating risks early

  • Experience coordinating legal, finance, and technical resources to keep timelines on track

Mindset:

  • Resourceful, detail-oriented, and energized by closing the gap between promise and delivery

  • Enjoys working in a fast-moving start-up where priorities can shift week to week
