Job description

At a Glance

We are looking for a Territory Sales Manager who acts as the primary bridge between NOCD and the local behavioral health community. In this field sales role, you will meet directly with doctors, therapists, and healthcare practices to educate them on our specialized care model and make it easy for them to refer OCD patients to NOCD. Ultimately, your goal is to build strong local partnerships, manage a pipeline of active referring providers, and meet monthly patient-growth targets.

What You’ll Actually Do

As a Territory Sales Manager, you will manage the full sales cycle—prospecting for new provider relationships, educating clinicians, and converting partnerships into consistent patient referrals.

  • Prospect & Build Pipeline: Identify and target high-potential psychiatrists, therapists, psychiatric nurse practitioners, behavioral health practices, and health systems in your territory.
  • Conduct Field Outreach: Spend ~75% of your time traveling within the territory to meet with providers in person and virtually to demonstrate NOCD's clinical model and referral workflow.
    • This Territory will be focused in the Raleigh/Durham area.
  • Drive Patient Referrals: Convert clinician interest into active referral channels, re-engage inactive partners, and grow referral volume in high-potential territories.
  • Manage Territory Performance: Track outreach, provider pipeline, and patient outcomes in the CRM to consistently hit monthly activity and patient conversion targets.
  • Collaborate Internally: Work with internal patient care and clinical ops teams to remove referral barriers and ensure smooth transitions to care.

What Success Looks Like

Success in this role means converting clinician relationships into a consistent stream of active patient referrals while meeting or exceeding monthly conversion targets.

Qualifications

  • Experience: 2+ years of experience in sales, with a strong preference for outside field sales or high-volume cold-calling experience.
  • Education: Bachelor's degree required.
  • Coaching & Adaptability: Comfortable receiving performance feedback, reviewing territory data, and refining your sales strategy to improve outcomes.
  • Mobility: Valid driver's license and willingness to travel up to 75% within your assigned geographic territory.
  • Drive: A goal-oriented, purpose-driven sales professional who wants their daily hustle tied directly to life-saving clinical care

Why Join NOCD?

Lead with Impact: Help healthcare providers identify patients who can benefit from specialized OCD care and seamlessly connect them with NOCD.

Transparent Earnings: Earn $135,000 – $150,000 in Year 1 On-Target Earnings, starting at an $90,000-$100,00 base and a transparent variable commission plan.

Comprehensive Benefits: Medical, dental, vision, 401(k) with company match, generous PTO, and 11 observed company holidays.

Career Growth: Develop high-value skills in healthcare and provider sales, manage higher-stakes territory portfolios, and position yourself for emerging opportunities as our team and market presence continue to grow.

Shape the Future of OCD Care

Join NOCD and help lead a movement that’s redefining mental health treatment. If you bring a Challenger mindset and passion for improving patient outcomes, we want to hear from you.

Additional Notes: This role’s responsibilities may evolve to meet business needs. Reasonable accommodations are available for individuals with disabilities to perform essential functions. Must have a valid driver's license.
