Job description

About OpenLoop

OpenLoop was co-founded by CEO, Dr. Jon Lensing, and COO, Christian Williams, with the vision to bring care anywhere. Our telehealth support solutions are thoughtfully designed to streamline and simplify go-to-market care delivery for companies offering meaningful virtual support to patients across an expansive array of specialties, in all 50 states.

About The Role

OpenLoop is looking for a Senior Project Manager to join our team remotely or at HQ in Des Moines, IA. As part of our Enterprise PMO, you will lead some of the organization's most strategic, complex, and highly cross-functional initiatives. You'll partner closely with business owners, senior leaders, and stakeholders to translate business objectives into actionable plans, navigate ambiguity, and drive projects from definition through delivery. The ideal candidate is a highly autonomous, results-oriented leader with strong judgment who can influence across teams, anticipate challenges, and drive meaningful business outcomes with minimal oversight.

What You’ll Do:

  • Lead and manage multiple concurrent, high-complexity and high-visibility initiatives from planning through delivery and transition.

  • Partner with business owners and senior leaders to define project outcomes, scope, requirements, deliverables, and success measures.

  • Develop and manage project plans, timelines, milestones, dependencies, risks, and ownership while navigating significant complexity and ambiguity.

  • Drive cross-functional execution and accountability across teams and senior stakeholders to remove blockers, resolve issues, and deliver intended project outcomes.

  • Anticipate risks and decision points, independently drive resolution, and escalate with clear recommendations when leadership intervention is needed.

  • Manage significant changes to scope, priorities, or timelines by assessing impact, recommending tradeoffs, and aligning stakeholders on the path forward.

  • Provide clear, concise project visibility and recommendations to senior and executive leadership.

  • Help strengthen PMO processes, governance, and delivery practices through experience and judgment.

  • Other duties as assigned.

Who You Are:

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience required; experience in healthcare, health tech, SaaS, or other fast-paced environments preferred.

  • 5+ years of project management experience leading complex, highly cross-functional initiatives.

  • Proven ability to independently lead high-impact projects with significant organizational complexity, competing priorities, and executive visibility.

  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills; adept at synthesizing complex information and providing clear recommendations to technical, non-technical, and executive audiences.

  • Strong judgment with the ability to anticipate challenges and independently drive resolution with minimal oversight.

  • Strong stakeholder management and executive presence with the ability to influence, challenge, and drive accountability without direct authority.

  • Highly organized and proactive, with exceptional follow-through across multiple complex initiatives.

  • Thrives in ambiguity and rapidly changing environments; able to create structure, adapt quickly, and maintain focus on business outcomes.

  • Comfortable working across technical and non-technical teams and translating complex information into actionable plans.

  • Experience with project management platforms such as monday.com, Asana, Smartsheet, ClickUp, or similar tools; comfortable working with modern collaboration and AI tools.

  • PMP or equivalent certification is a plus.
