Job title
Sales Development Representative
Job location
San Francisco, CA
Job description
## About Conduit Conduit is an AI agent platform purpose-built for hospitality. Hotels, vacation rentals, and resorts deploy our agents across guest-facing communication and internal operations, running millions of workflows a day. Hospitality is 10% of global GDP and it turns on customer experience. Resolving a guest request immediately is most of that experience, and resolving one means moving across several tools and between several people. That coordination is the work, and it is what our agents do. ## Role: Sales Development Representative You build the pipeline that becomes revenue, and this is the fastest way into a closing seat here. Conduit runs guest communication for 1,176 operators across 76,790 listings, and the platform has handled 78 million guest messages. Your job is to find the operators still doing that work by hand: short-term rental managers drowning in messages during peak season, hotel groups paying a call center more than the front desk costs, multi-property operators losing booking inquiries overnight. The pitch already exists. We know which segments close, which openers earn a conversation with a COO, and which problems land with an operator. You will work in person, five days a week, in San Francisco. You get direct founder access, and you will be expected to have an opinion. If you want remote, this is not the role. ### What the work looks like * **Prospect every day.** Cold call, email, and social. 100+ dials a day is the baseline. * **Run the plays that convert.** Start with what works before you go inventing your own. * **Qualify and book.** Short discovery with founders, COOs, and heads of guest experience: how many doors they run, which PMS they are on, where guest communication is breaking. Decide quickly, then book the demo. * **Bring back what you hear.** You talk to more operators in a week than anyone else here. The objections and the new segments should reach the AEs and founders while they are still fresh. * **Test and measure.** Subject lines, openers, sequences. Track conversion at every step. ### Who you are * **You pick up the phone.** Cold calling does not scare you, and you would rather make the call than build another list. * **You are quick on the phone.** You can earn thirty seconds of attention and turn it into a conversation that surfaces a real problem. * **You learn fast.** Within a month you can explain how a reservation moves through a PMS and why a two-hour response time costs an operator bookings. * **You are resilient.** Most of this job is rejection and you stay sharp through it. * **You share what works.** When you find something, the whole team should be running it by Friday. * **You know the tools.** CRM, sequencer, dialer. Salesforce is a plus. * **Experience.** 1+ years in a quota-carrying or high-volume outbound role. ### Compensation and Benefits $90,000 to $140,000 OTE, plus equity. You must be authorized to work in the United States.
