Overview of Role

We’re looking for a sharp, driven UX/Product Designer to join our small, fast-moving team. You thrive in early-stage environments, can move from idea to prototype in hours (not days), and love taking ownership over the full product experience. You’re comfortable navigating ambiguity, collaborating across functions, and making thoughtful trade-offs to ship quickly and iterate often.

What You’ll Do

• Own end-to-end design work for our web app from early sketches and wireframes to polished Figma prototypes
  
  
• Partner closely with product, engineering, and marketing to shape features from idea to launch
  
  
• Communicate design decisions clearly and confidently across teams
  
  
• Balance craft and speed—knowing when to sweat the details and when to move fast
  
  
• Embrace ambiguity, change direction without ego, and stay focused on impact
  
  

What We’re Looking For

• Advanced Figma skills; fast and fluent in creating wireframes, flows, and clickable prototypes across mobile and desktop views
  
  
• Prior experience working in high-velocity startup environments (ideally 4–6 years in design roles)
  
  
• A bias for action. You are comfortable ideating and iterating quickly with minimal direction
  
  
• Strong product instincts and a user-first mindset
  
  
• Excellent communication skills - you can clearly explain your thinking and trade-offs to others
  
  
• Comfortable navigating shifting priorities and jumping between projects as needed
  
  
• Preference for candidates willing to work in-person with our Chicago team in our Glencoe office a couple of days per week.

Compensation

• $120-140k base salary + meaningful equity
