This role is not just about compliance—it's about safeguarding personal data so we can uphold our commitment to improving community health and safety through the power of data.

Reporting directly to the Chief Privacy Officer, you'll have the opportunity to influence company-wide policies and make strategic recommendations that will keep us ahead in a rapidly changing regulatory landscape. • Developing and implementing employee privacy policies that align with the latest regulatory standards.
  • Monitoring and ensuring adherence to privacy regulations across all departments.
  • Providing strategic recommendations to enhance ESO’s privacy practices, staying ahead of regulatory changes and industry trends.
  • Acting as ESO’s designated privacy officer, supporting the company in privacy-related matters.
  • Working with the security team to integrate security considerations into ESO’s privacy policy.
  • Collaborating with product and engineering teams on privacy impact assessments (PIAs) and data protection impact assessments (DPIAs) as required.

Who You Are - some of the essential things required to be successful in the role:

  • 4 – 6  years of experience in privacy compliance, data protection, or a related field.
  • Strong understanding of privacy regulations in Europe and the U.S.
  • Experience drafting and negotiating data protection agreements.
  • Excellent communication skills to liaise effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
  • Proven ability to provide strategic recommendations and influence senior management.
  • Experience working closely with security teams to ensure privacy is embedded in all processes.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

Who You Are – it’s desirable if you have any of the following:

  • Experience in the healthcare and/or SaaS industry.
  • Experience acting as a data protection officer or privacy officer in a corporate setting.
  • Familiarity with privacy management tools and platforms.
