WeightWatchers is a global digital health company.
WeightWatchers is a global digital health company and the world’s #1 doctor-recommended, clinically studied behavioral weight health program. For sixty years, we have led the industry by blending science and community to help millions of people build sustainable healthy habits.
As the science of weight health rapidly evolves, so does WeightWatchers. We are redefining the category by developing new clinical pathways for GLP-1 medication access, creating specialized behavioral programs for members on weight-loss medications, and integrating medical care with our proven habit-change framework. By combining these clinical breakthroughs with our digital-first community, we are uniquely positioned to lead the future of weight health care.
What You'll Do
Members come to WeightWatchers at very different moments — starting a new program, considering a GLP-1, settling into a routine, hitting a plateau, coming back after time away. Our challenge is to meet each of them where they are. We're taking the magic of our in-person workshops, the accountability and connection that come from showing up alongside other people, and extending it with experiences only possible in a digital product. We're blending clinical expertise, coaching, and self-serve tools into a program that works for each person, on the premise that the best plan is the one someone can actually stick with. There is no one-size-fits-all, so the experience has to adapt to each member's goals, needs, and lifestyle.
You'll own how that experience holds together as a coherent whole: a consistent product point of view, personalized to where a member actually is in their journey, expressed in the daily surfaces they return to for food, guidance, reassurance, and support.
This is a high-change environment, and you'll have real room to shape what our member experience becomes, with outsized influence on a business serving millions of people. Your specific area of focus will be set based on team needs and your background, and will evolve as the product does. We're looking for someone who can deliver impact across different surfaces and problem types. You will:
- Set the vision and strategy for your area, in service of the whole. Define what great looks like for your surfaces, and make sure they connect into one coherent, personalized member experience.
- Design for real, daily behavior. Build experiences members want to open every day, that adapt to where they are in their journey, and that blend digital with workshops, coaching, and community.
- Make content-rich experiences feel personal. Help members find, understand, and act on a lot of guidance, food data, and programming — dynamically, based on their needs — without overwhelming them.
- Make smart bets. Size the odds, move fast on reversible decisions, think big when the upside is there, and change course quickly when the evidence changes.
- Deliver measurable impact. Own outcomes in sustained engagement, retention, and topline revenue, balancing short term and long term objectives.
- Challenge the status quo. Question inherited assumptions about how the product works, propose bolder alternatives, and be willing to be wrong in public.
- Run a high-velocity experimentation practice. Form sharp hypotheses, ship tests fast, read results honestly, and change your mind when the data says to.
- Raise the bar for the team. Set an example on product judgment, writing, and prioritization, and help define how this team operates as it grows. Bring curiosity about how AI can make us faster and make the product better.
- Build coalitions. Rally Engineering, Design, Data, Science, Clinical, Marketing, and Legal behind a clear point of view, and push through roadblocks when priorities or ownership are unclear.
Who You Are
- A high-agency owner: You don't wait to be told what to do. When something needs to happen, you make it happen, even if it isn’t in your direct remit. You are relentless and creative in pursuit of impact.
- Energized by ambiguity and change: You thrive without a playbook and don't need clarity before you move. You would rather shape a fast-moving product with outsized impact than run a well-defined one.
- A bold risk-taker with good judgment: You know when to move fast, when to think big, and when to take a swing. You question inherited assumptions, make calls with incomplete information, and are comfortable being wrong in public, and you can tell us what you learned.
- A systems thinker: You see how the pieces connect and understand how a change to one surface, program, or moment in a member's journey ripples through the rest. You keep an experience coherent across teams you don't manage.
- Grounded in user behavior: You spend real time with the people you build for, talking to them and watching how they use the product, and you design from observed behavior, not assumptions. You understand what drives habit change.
- Rigorous with data: You define your own metrics, build your own funnels and readouts, and design experiments that produce clean reads. You have results you can quantify and credibly attribute to your work, and you're skeptical of your own conclusions.
Qualifications
- 8+ years of product management experience, including owning an everyday-use consumer product at scale
- Track record of measurable results in engagement, retention, behavior change, or revenue, with outcomes you can quantify and attribute to your own work
- Impact across more than one product surface or problem type, not a single domain
- Experience leading cross-functional work without formal authority, including where the remit or org was unclear
- Strong, hands-on experimentation and product analytics skills, without depending on an analyst for the basics
- Experience with content-heavy products, where users need to find and act on a lot of information
- Ability to reason through technical tradeoffs with engineers
- Track record of driving results in high-change or ambiguous environments, where you set direction rather than wait for it
- Excellent written and verbal communication, including with senior leaders
Preferred
- Experience in behavior change, health, wellness, fitness, nutrition, or habit-forming products
- Experience connecting digital products with offline or in-person experiences (community, coaching, retail, events)
- Experience with personalization, lifecycle engagement, or recommendation systems
- Experience in a small, scrappy, or early-stage environment
- Experience using AI tools to move faster and raise the quality of your own work
