Job Description
Trial Library is an AI-native research platform with a mission to improve healthcare outcomes by expanding access to precision medicine.
About Trial Library

Trial Library is an AI-native enrollment and care navigation platform that accelerates access to precision medicine. In collaboration with biopharmaceutical manufacturers, payers, and health systems, Trial Library enables the delivery of clinical trials as a standard care option - improving patient access, advancing oncology outcomes, and reducing the total cost of care. Backed by leading healthcare venture capital firms, Trial Library’s platform is currently deployed in 840+ clinics and 3,000+ providers nationwide.

As a Patient Navigator (Ally Navigator), you'll be responsible for guiding patients with cancer and their caregivers through the process of learning about clinical trials as a potential treatment option, as well as the steps needed to participate in a therapeutic clinical trial at a study site. You will be the first touchpoint for patients, understanding how to best help and serve them during their most vulnerable time. To be successful in this role, you must have extensive knowledge of clinical research and the ability to communicate complex information effectively across various backgrounds and health literacy levels.
Your Responsibilities
  • Serve as liaison between health systems, community providers, and patients
  • Navigate patients through the clinical trial referral, screening, and enrollment process
  • Provide individualized counseling on social determinants of health and assist patients with applying for and utilizing resources to overcome barriers to care
  • Facilitate seamless handoff to clinical research sites and ensure transfer of relevant patient medical records
  • Maintain short- and long-term follow-up with patients as needed
  • Practice cultural humility when engaging with patients and families
  • Respond promptly to inbound inquiries from Trial Library users, including patients, clinicians, and researchers
  • Document and resolve issues that arise throughout the patient experience
  • Contribute to and refine internal SOPs for Ally Navigation Services workflows
  • Prepare and maintain weekly status reports on patient tracking, provider outreach, and other Ally Team Navigator activities
  • Partner with Product, Engineering, and Operations to improve the patient experience and drive adoption of Trial Library through new features, workflows, and service lines
  • Generate external-facing content for clinical trial education and resources
  • Support a diverse, inclusive, equitable, and performance-oriented team culture
  • Your Qualifications
  • Nursing degree or equivalent training (RN, LPN, or NP) required; active license not required
  • Clinical experience in oncology, hematology, or a related cancer care setting required
  • Experience in clinical research, patient navigation, or patient advocacy
  • Strong organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills
  • Empathetic approach with ability to provide emotional support during high-stress situations
  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment and prioritize based on importance and urgency
  • Ability to collect and analyze data from multiple internal and external sources
  • Comfortable working across diverse stakeholder groups with varying functional priorities
  • Flexibility and adaptability in response to evolving patient and clinician needs
  • Multilingual (preferred)
