Position Status: Contingent Upon Program Award

The Inventory Coordinator is responsible for maintaining inventory accuracy across Kepler's production and warehouse operations. Working closely with Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Receiving, and Engineering, you'll ensure inventory transactions are completed accurately, materials are properly stored and tracked, and inventory levels support uninterrupted production.

This role is ideal for someone who enjoys organization, problem-solving, and improving operational efficiency in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Maintain accurate inventory records within the ERP system

  • Perform daily inventory transactions, including receipts, issues, transfers, and adjustments

  • Perform kitting activities of highly sensitive integrated circuits for assembly of circuit boards by Contract Manufacturers

  • Execute cycle counts and support annual physical inventory activities

  • Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies through root cause analysis

  • Coordinate material movement between receiving, warehouse, production, contract manufacturers and engineering

  • Ensure inventory locations are organized, labeled, and maintained according to company standards

  • Monitor inventory levels and communicate potential shortages or excess inventory

  • Support physical receiving and logistics activities as required

  • Work with Supply Chain personnel, Production Planners, Manufacturing, and Engineering to ensure material availability

  • Assist with non-conforming material segregation and inventory disposition

  • Maintain lot, serial number, and traceability records where applicable

  • Recommend and implement improvements to inventory processes and controls

  • Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency

Required Skills & Qualifications:
  • 4+ years of inventory control, warehouse, or materials management experience in a manufacturing environment

  • Experience working with ERP/MRP systems (NetSuite experience is considered an asset)

  • Experience working with Manufacturing Execution Systems (MES)

  • Strong understanding of inventory control best practices

  • High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills

  • Comfortable working with Microsoft Excel and inventory reporting tools

  • Demonstrated willingness and ability to leverage AI-assisted engineering and development tools to improve productivity, design quality, and innovation while adapting to evolving technologies and best practices
  • Ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment

  • Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally

  • Experience supporting production or high-tech manufacturing environments is considered an asset

Bonus Points:
  • Experience in aerospace, electronics manufacturing, or other regulated industries

  • Familiarity with barcode scanning systems and warehouse management practices

  • Understanding of lot and serial number traceability

  • Experience supporting Lean Manufacturing or continuous improvement initiatives
