About the Role
Kensington is looking for a technically strong CRM Developer to help evolve the CRM ecosystem supporting our business and customer experience.
While HubSpot is our primary CRM platform, we are open to candidates with strong technical CRM development experience across platforms such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365 or similar. What matters most is a strong foundation in CRM architecture, development, integrations and customer data, combined with the ability to learn and work across technologies.
In this role, you will own the technical configuration, development and integration of our CRM environment, connecting customer data across HubSpot, proprietary applications, reporting platforms and other business systems. You will work hands-on with CRM architecture, APIs, automation, data flows and C#/.NET development to help build a scalable and reliable customer data ecosystem.
This is an ideal opportunity for someone who enjoys solving complex technical problems, working across systems and taking ownership of CRM solutions from initial requirements through implementation and ongoing optimization.
What You’ll Do
- Own the technical configuration and ongoing development of our CRM platform, including custom objects/entities, properties and fields, relationships, workflows, automation and business rules.
- Design, build and support integrations between the CRM and proprietary applications, reporting platforms, data environments and third-party systems.
- Develop and maintain integrations using REST APIs, webhooks, JSON, C#/.NET and middleware or cloud integration services.
- Translate business requirements into scalable CRM architecture and technical solutions while avoiding unnecessary customization and complexity.
- Support the development of a unified customer view, ensuring customer information remains consistent, accurate and accessible across CRM, internal systems and downstream reporting.
- Troubleshoot complex CRM, API and data synchronization issues, identifying root causes across application, integration and data layers.
- Support CRM migrations and large-scale data initiatives, including data mapping, transformation, validation, deduplication and reconciliation.
- Build and optimize CRM workflows and automation that improve business processes and reduce manual effort.
- Establish and maintain CRM development standards and governance around data quality, integrations, workflows, permissions and platform changes.
- Partner closely with Technology, Marketing, Data and other business teams to deliver CRM initiatives from requirements through development, testing and deployment.
- Maintain clear technical documentation covering CRM architecture, integrations, data flows and system dependencies.
- Monitor the health and performance of CRM integrations and proactively identify opportunities to improve reliability, scalability and efficiency.
What You'll Bring
- 4+ years of hands-on technical CRM experience, including development, configuration or administration within an enterprise CRM such as HubSpot, Salesforce, Microsoft Dynamics 365 or a comparable platform.
- Strong understanding of CRM architecture and data models, including custom objects/entities, relationships, workflows and automation.
- Hands-on experience building and troubleshooting REST API integrations, including JSON payloads, authentication, field mapping and error handling.
- Development experience with C# and .NET.
- Experience working with SQL and relational data.
- Experience connecting CRM platforms with external applications through APIs, webhooks, middleware or cloud integration services.
- Strong understanding of customer-data quality, synchronization, migration, deduplication and reconciliation.
- Experience troubleshooting technical issues across multiple interconnected systems and driving problems through resolution.
- Ability to translate business requirements into practical and scalable technical solutions.
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.
Nice to Have
- Hands-on HubSpot development or administration experience across Sales, Marketing and/or Service Hub.
- Experience with HubSpot APIs, custom objects, workflows and webhooks.
- Experience with Azure technologies such as Azure Functions, Logic Apps, Data Factory or Synapse.
- Experience with ETL, data pipelines or large-scale CRM/data migrations.
- Exposure to Power BI or similar reporting and analytics platforms.
- Experience supporting Customer 360, master customer data or unified customer profile initiatives.
- Familiarity with source control, CI/CD and modern software development practices.
- Experience working in an Agile environment and managing technical work through tools such as JIRA or Azure DevOps.
What Success Looks Like
In your first year, you will become a trusted technical owner of our CRM ecosystem, developing a strong understanding of how customer data moves between HubSpot and the broader Kensington technology environment.
You will help strengthen the architecture and reliability of our CRM integrations, improve data consistency across systems and contribute to building a more complete and dependable view of our customers. You will also play an important role in supporting key business initiatives, including our evolving loyalty ecosystem and integrations between HubSpot, proprietary technology and downstream data and reporting platforms.
Why Join Kensington?
This is an opportunity to work on more than the day-to-day administration of a CRM. You’ll have meaningful ownership over how our CRM, customer data and connected technology ecosystem evolve as the business grows.
You’ll work closely with teams across Technology, Marketing and Data, solve complex integration and data challenges, and have the opportunity to influence how CRM technology supports the broader customer journey.
