  • Partner with external immigration counsel, relocation vendors, and tax advisors to manage cases from initiation through completion
  • Track assignment timelines, visa expirations, and renewal deadlines to ensure continuous compliance
  • Administer relocation benefits (housing, shipping, schooling, tax equalization/protection) in line with company policy
  • Maintain accurate records in the global mobility case management system and produce regular status reports for HR and business stakeholders
  • Advise HR business partners and hiring managers on mobility policy, cost estimates, and feasibility for proposed international moves
  • Stay current on changes to immigration law, tax treaties, and social security agreements in key countries of operation
  • Support cost projections and budget tracking for assignments, including tax gross-up calculations
  • Identify process improvements and contribute to updates of mobility policies and procedures

Required Qualifications

  • 2–4 years of experience in global mobility, immigration, HR, or relocation services
  • Working knowledge of visa/immigration processes and compliance requirements for at least one major region (e.g., US, EU, APAC)
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with a service-oriented approach to supporting employees

Preferred Qualifications

  • Experience working with third-party immigration law firms or relocation management companies (RMCs)
  • Familiarity with tax equalization/protection concepts for international assignees
  • Global Mobility certification (e.g., GMS from Worldwide ERC) is a plus
  • Experience supporting assignments across multiple regions/time zones

Skills

  • Cross-cultural sensitivity and discretion in handling confidential employee information
  • Problem-solving mindset for navigating ambiguous or complex cross-border cases
  • Vendor and stakeholder management
