Monday Tuesday Friday 

 

Summary:

We are seeking a skilled and dedicated General Radiographer (Band 6) to join a community medical imaging team. This role is critical in providing high-quality diagnostic imaging services to patients, delivering accurate and timely results that aid in patient diagnosis and treatment. You will work alongside a team of professionals in a dynamic and supportive environment.

 

Responsibilities:

  • Perform general radiographic procedures and ensure high-quality imaging results.
  • Assist in the preparation and positioning of patients for diagnostic examinations.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure data confidentiality.
  • Collaborate with medical staff to provide comprehensive patient care.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot imaging equipment to ensure operational effectiveness.
  • Adhere to health and safety regulations and protocols at all times.
  • Provide guidance and support to junior radiography staff and students.

Required Skills:

  • Certification in Diagnostic Radiography.
  • Registration with the Health and Care Professions Council (HCPC).
  • Proven experience as a Radiographer, preferably at a Band 6 level.
  • Strong knowledge of radiographic techniques and equipment.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team and independently.
  • Commitment to patient care and confidentiality.
