Momence is a next-gen booking and communications platform for experience-based businesses like yoga and pilates studios, gyms, dance schools, salons, spas, golf facilities, and more. We support over 5,500 businesses with scheduling, payments, communications, marketing solutions, and backend automation. Through our Momence app, hundreds of thousands of customers book their wellness experiences every month.
As a remote-first company backed by Y Combinator (Summer 2020), we are revolutionizing the experience economy by providing modern software solutions to an underserved industry. While we operate fully remotely everywhere else, our Prague-based team has the option of being in the office or fully remote - up to you.
About the team
Our engineering team is dedicated to creating the core platform that empowers small businesses to be discovered and deliver exceptional experiences. From scheduling to payments, marketing to payroll; we’re building a product that makes it easy for people to grow their customer base while we handle the complexities of tailoring our software to fit their business needs.
What are we looking for?
- You have 7+ years of experience as a Full-Stack Engineer, working across both frontend and backend technologies, including unit and end-to-end testing.
- A strong product mindset allows you to iterate quickly and deliver impactful results.
- You enjoy solving complex technical challenges and confidently defend your solutions, even in ambiguous situations.
- Expertise in UX, design, security, or DevOps enables you to build scalable and user-friendly systems.
- Being based in CZ.
- A passion for continuous learning and knowledge sharing drives your professional growth.
- Adapting to fast-paced environments, whether in startups or multinational corporations, feels natural.
- Problem-solving and critical thinking are at the core of your approach, helping you deliver effective solutions.

- TypeScript, Node, React, PostgreSQL.
