Grade: Consultant
Location: Havant, Hampshire
Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Rate: Competitive, to be discussed upon application

We are seeking an experienced Consultant in Child and Adolescent Psychiatry to work full-time for our NHS client based in Havant, Hampshire. This locum opportunity is available for an immediate start.

What will your responsibilities be?

This role involves working across CAMHS, CMHT, and inpatient settings, delivering specialist psychiatric care to children and adolescents. You will be responsible for conducting assessments, formulating and overseeing treatment plans, and working collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to provide high-quality mental health services. The postholder will also participate in ward rounds, clinical meetings, and maintain documentation in line with NHS standards.

Qualifications and Experience:

• GMC registration (essential)
• Section 12 approval and Approved Clinician status
• Inclusion on the Specialist Register (CCT)
• Experience in CAMHS, community mental health teams, and inpatient care
• Excellent communication and leadership skills
• A strong commitment to patient-centred care
