We are seeking an experienced and highly skilled Band 7 Locum Sonographer to join our team in London. This exciting opportunity offers competitive rates of pay and the chance to work in a dynamic and supportive environment. As a Locum Sonographer, you will provide expert imaging services, contributing to patient care and supporting the wider diagnostic team.

Responsibilities:

As a Band 7 Locum Sonographer, you will be responsible for conducting high-quality ultrasound examinations, including general and obstetric scans, ensuring accurate and timely diagnostic imaging for patients. You will work collaboratively with the clinical team, maintaining excellent patient care standards and adhering to all relevant policies and guidelines. Strong communication skills and the ability to provide clear information to patients and colleagues are essential in this role.

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration is essential.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in conducting general, gynecological, and obstetric ultrasound scans.
  • Ability to work autonomously and manage a busy caseload effectively.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills to liaise with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Up-to-date knowledge of current guidelines and practices in medical imaging.
