We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Sonographer to join our team in London on a temporary basis. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to contribute to high-quality patient care while working in a dynamic healthcare environment. This Band 7 position offers a competitive rate of £50 per hour and involves full-time hours, Monday to Friday, for a 3-month period. The role requires an immediate start, making it ideal for someone ready to hit the ground running and make a significant impact.

Responsibilities:

As a Sonographer, you will be responsible for performing high-quality diagnostic ultrasound examinations in a variety of clinical areas. You will work closely with patients to explain procedures and ensure their comfort during imaging, provide accurate and timely reporting to support clinical decisions, and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to deliver patient-centered care. Your expertise will contribute to maintaining excellent clinical standards and improving health outcomes in a fast-paced setting.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent qualification in Diagnostic Radiography or Medical Ultrasound.
  • Postgraduate qualification in Medical Ultrasound (PGCert, PGDip, or MSc).
  • Current HCPC or other relevant registration.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience working as a Band 7 Sonographer or equivalent.
  • Expertise in a range of ultrasound specialisms, including abdominal, gynecological, musculoskeletal, and vascular imaging.
  • Proven ability to provide accurate, high-quality diagnostic reports.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and healthcare professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and adapt to a fast-paced environment.
  • Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to professional standards.
