Job Description:
East and North Hertfordshire NHS Trust is seeking an experienced Band 6/7 Locum Paediatric Audiologist to join our team in Stevenage. The successful candidate will be HCPC registered and have the right to work in the UK. Your role will include performing diagnostic audiometry, hearing aid fittings, and delivering family-centred care to support optimal outcomes for our paediatric patients.

What your responsibilities will be for this Physiotherapy role?

As a Band 6/7 Locum Paediatric Audiologist, you will undertake comprehensive audiological assessments and treatments for children, including diagnostic audiometry and balance evaluations. You will manage a diverse caseload, providing personalised treatment plans and conducting hearing aid fittings as needed. Effective communication with children and their families is essential, ensuring that they are well-informed and supported throughout their care journey. You will work closely with multidisciplinary teams to deliver integrated care and contribute to the ongoing development of best practices within the department. Accurate documentation of patient information and adherence to clinical guidelines are also key aspects of the role.

Requirements:

• HCPC registration as a Paediatric Audiologist
• Right to work in the UK
• Relevant degree in Audiology or equivalent qualification
• Significant experience in paediatric audiology and balance assessments
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a multidisciplinary team
• Excellent organisational and time-management skills
