Working Hours: 40 hours per week
Pay Rate: £26.00 per hour

We are looking for a proficient and compassionate Band 6 Radiotherapist to join our team in Bristol on a temporary basis. This role offers a competitive rate of £26.00 per hour and requires 40 hours of work per week. The position is set for a 6-month duration with an immediate start, providing an excellent opportunity for those ready to contribute to high-quality radiotherapy services.

Responsibilities:

As a Band 6 Radiotherapist, you will be responsible for delivering precise and effective radiotherapy treatments to patients, ensuring their comfort and care throughout the process. You will work collaboratively with oncologists, radiographers, and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans. Your role will include operating radiotherapy equipment, monitoring patient progress, maintaining accurate treatment records, and ensuring adherence to safety protocols.

Qualifications and Experience:

 

  • Degree in Radiotherapy or equivalent.
  • Current registration with the HCPC.
  • At least 1 year of experience as a Band 6 Radiotherapist or in a similar role.
  • Competence in using modern radiotherapy equipment and techniques.
  • Understanding of radiation safety and protection measures.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well within a multidisciplinary team.
  • Commitment to delivering high standards of patient care.
