Koko makes a device to monitor the health and safety of older adults in a completely passive way--with no wearables required. We are solving the problem of how society will take care of 50m+ seniors in the US in a scalable & humane manner. We can monitor the most salient pieces of information in a senior’s day to day: serious health events like falls, behavioral red flags such as changes in urination frequency, skipping meals, or being bedridden which can all correlate with health decline. We have a team including 4 PhD’s in EE & AI and were in the Summer '17 batch of YCombinator.
