Maybell Quantum is seeking an experienced Welding Technician. Our ideal team member is a hands-on individual who has experience building and fabricating highly complex hardware. They are self-motivated with strong communication skills and can work well in teams and individually.
Responsibilities:
- Have experiences in one of the 3 following activities
- Hand-held TIG-welding of stainless steel, aluminum, copper
- Operating CNC tube benders to bend stainless steel, aluminum, copper tubes
- Cutting, facing, prepping and tacking of metal components.
- Identify and escalate manufacturing quality and organizational systems improvements.
- Support continuous improvement efforts.
- Support work instructions and production documentation.
- Perform other duties as assigned.
- Optional - leak test welded components via Helium Leak Detector experience.
Required Qualifications:
- 3+ years of work experience in a manufacturing or production environment
- 1+ years of weld / fab shop experience.
- Self-starter who can thrive in ambiguity
- Hands-on assembly and fabrication skills.
