About the Role
We are looking for a Senior Frontend Engineer to join our team as a technical leader and primary individual contributor. This role is first and foremost focused on hands-on development of our cutting-edge AI-powered platform. You'll work directly with our product and design teams to build sophisticated, responsive, and intuitive interfaces that make complex AI capabilities accessible to users.
Responsibilities
Spend the majority of your time (70%+) writing high-quality code and solving complex technical challenges
Architect and implement sophisticated frontend solutions that handle complex state management, real-time updates, and evolving product needs
Own frontend architecture and technical decision-making, balancing immediate requirements with long-term scalability
Create responsive, performant interfaces that work seamlessly across devices and browsers, while continuously optimizing and monitoring frontend performance
Collaborate with designers to implement pixel-perfect UIs and evolve the component library and design system while maintaining code quality and performance
Maintain high standards for code quality, performance, testing, and frontend development best practices
Lead code reviews and establish frontend engineering standards while providing technical guidance and mentorship to two frontend engineers
Evaluate and introduce new technologies, tools, and build-system improvements that strengthen the development workflow and product quality
Partner closely with the backend team to design and implement APIs that enable rich frontend functionality
Own the core product interface and user experience from a frontend engineering perspective
Qualifications
10+ years of frontend development experience with expert-level knowledge of modern JavaScript/TypeScript
Deep expertise in React.js and its ecosystem, including state management approaches (Redux, MobX, or similar)
Experience with modern build tools (Webpack, Vite, etc.) and frontend testing frameworks and methodologies
Proven track record of building complex, production-grade, responsive applications with strong cross-browser compatibility
Strong understanding of web performance optimization
Background in building developer tools or AI-powered applications is a plus.
