Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Senior Data Engineer Grade 26 - Data Processing, Analysis & Support Troubleshooting in India.
This role will lead data processing, analysis, and troubleshooting activities for support tickets and production data issues across Future Factory solutions. The role will drive root cause analysis, improve data reliability, and strengthen monitoring, documentation, and preventive controls for data engineering operations.
What a typical day looks like:
- Lead investigation and resolution of complex data support tickets related to data pipelines, transformations, quality issues, reporting discrepancies, and integration failures.
- Analyze logs, queries, data flows, source-to-target mappings, refresh schedules, and integration dependencies to identify root causes.
- Define corrective actions, preventive controls, monitoring improvements, and repeatable troubleshooting playbooks for recurring data issues.
- Collaborate with solution managers, architects, application teams, support teams, and business stakeholders to build data pipelines, transformation of data & Data Mapping.
- Review and guide junior engineers on data validation, ticket analysis, RCA preparation, documentation, and operational support practices.
- Support production deployments, stabilization, data quality governance, performance tuning, and continuous improvement of assigned data processes.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team:
- Education: Bachelor’s Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Data Engineering, Engineering, Statistics, or a related discipline.
- Experience: 5+ years in data engineering, ETL/ELT, SQL development, production support, data analysis, data integration, or related roles.
- Strong knowledge of SQL, data modeling, data transformation, pipeline monitoring, data quality checks, APIs, and troubleshooting production data issues.
- Experience performing root cause analysis, incident resolution, ticket governance, operational documentation, and support handoff activities.
- Ability to guide junior engineers, coordinate with cross-functional teams, and communicate technical findings clearly to stakeholders.
- Experience with cloud data platforms, enterprise data warehouses, dashboards, manufacturing data, or analytics environments is preferred.
