About LOVB and LOVB Miami

LOVB Miami Volleyball is League One Volleyball’s professional team in Miami, playing its inaugural LOVB Pro season in 2027. Built from the grassroots up through a network of junior volleyball clubs, LOVB Miami is part of the only professional league in the United States with a fully integrated youth-to-pro ecosystem. The club is shaping a new vision for professional sports in one of the world’s most dynamic markets, built on elite competition, community, and the advancement of women’s volleyball.

LOVB Miami is backed by a best-in-class ownership group of experienced operators and passionate volleyball supporters. We are building the first and greatest women’s sports franchise in Miami, with deep resources, a network second to none, and unmatched ambition to be the best. Our ownership group is committed to a franchise that reflects the culture, energy and diversity of Miami: a cultural anchor of the community and an international beacon for women’s sport with deep connectivity to Latin America.

This is a founding role. You will be one of the first sellers in the building, helping set the standard for how LOVB Miami sells, serves and keeps its fans in one of the most competitive and most international sports markets in the country.

The Role

The Senior Account Executive, Ticket Sales drives ticket revenue for LOVB Miami through season memberships, group sales, partial plans and premium experiences, while giving our first members and fans an experience worth renewing. You will carry one of the largest books of business on the team and serve as a primary point of contact for season members and prospective buyers.

The inaugural season is the most important selling window this club will ever have. Deposits are already being collected, and converting that early interest into season members, then keeping them, is at the center of this job.

This role combines high-volume outbound selling with real account management. As a senior seller, you will also help set the pace for newer members of the team, sharing what works on the phone and in the market.

What You’ll Own

Revenue Generation

  • Execute 60+ daily outbound sales activities through phone, email, text and LinkedIn outreach.
  • Sell season memberships, partial plans, group packages and premium experiences for LOVB Miami home matches.
  • Meet and exceed individual sales and revenue goals.
  • Maintain accurate activity, pipeline and forecasting records in the club’s CRM.
  • Identify upsell, cross-sell and referral opportunities to grow the value of every account.
  • Develop and manage a consistent sales pipeline, prioritizing prospects and following up to maximize conversions.
  • Proactively identify new business opportunities through referrals, networking and community relationships.

Founding Members and Deposit Conversion

  • Convert the existing deposit and priority list into season members and single-match buyers.
  • Guide founding members through seat selection, benefits and onboarding.
  • Treat first-year members as founders of the club, with service that builds loyalty from the first call.
  • Build relationships with founding members that support long-term engagement and future renewals.

Group Sales and Community Networks

  • Build and sell group programs for volleyball’s natural audiences: youth clubs, high school and collegiate programs, camps, tournaments and coaching networks.
  • Develop relationships with Club 305 Volleyball, Game Point Volleyball and the wider South Florida club and school ecosystem.
  • Prospect corporate, association, school district, faith and community groups across Miami-Dade, Broward and Palm Beach.
  • Sell and coordinate group experiences such as team nights, on-court moments and clinics, in partnership with Fan Experience.

Membership Retention and Account Management

  • Build long-term relationships with season members and key accounts.
  • Support renewal campaigns and retention programs, starting from the first match rather than the end of the season.
  • Handle exchanges, seat relocations, account questions and service requests professionally and quickly.

Ticket Operations and Match Day

  • Process orders accurately in the club’s ticketing platform and CRM, and maintain clean account and inventory records.
  • Facilitate group ticket fulfillment and help troubleshoot ticketing and account issues.
  • Work every home match, supporting the box office, walk-up sales, member services and issue resolution.
  • Support preseason events, member events, fan activations and community initiatives.

Team and Cross-functional Partnership

  • Help onboard and mentor newer sellers, sharing best practices and holding a high standard for activity and service.
  • Partner with Marketing and Fan Experience so campaigns, promotions and member communications support the sales calendar.

First-Season Priorities

  • Personal book of [X] season membership accounts and [X] in group revenue before the inaugural match.
  • Deposit holders assigned to you converted at or above [X]%.
  • [X] active group partners from the South Florida volleyball, school and community network.
  • Every account you sold is set up for renewal before the first season ends.

What You Bring

Required

  • 1–3 years of experience in ticket sales, sports sales, customer service, business development or a related field, with a record of hitting sales goals.
  • Proven ability to build relationships and generate revenue through outbound selling.
  • Strong customer service, account management and communication skills.
  • Ability to learn and use ticketing and CRM platforms well.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
  • Availability to work evenings, weekends and holidays throughout the competition season.

Preferred

  • Experience in professional sports, collegiate athletics, entertainment or live events.
  • Familiarity with Archtics, TM1 Sales, FEVO, Ticketmaster, Salesforce or similar platforms.
  • Experience supporting a season ticket membership program.
  • Professional working proficiency in Spanish and/or Brazilian Portuguese.
  • South Florida corporate, school and community relationships.
  • Knowledge of volleyball and the youth club and tournament ecosystem, and a passion for women’s professional sports.

How Success Is Measured

  • Individual ticket revenue against goal.
  • Season membership accounts sold and renewal rate of your book.
  • Group revenue and number of activated group partners.
  • Daily activity levels and pipeline accuracy.
  • Member satisfaction and service quality.

Working Conditions

  • Based in Miami with regular presence at the club’s home venue [venue to be confirmed].
  • Evening, weekend and holiday work required during the competition season.
  • Regular in-market activity, including client meetings, club visits and community events.
  • Ability to stand and move throughout the venue on match days and lift event materials up to 25 pounds.

Benefits

Benefits include medical, dental and vision coverage; 401(k) with company match; paid time off; paid parental leave; team merchandise and ticket allocation.

This is a full-time position based in Miami, Florida. Availability for all home match days, including evenings and weekends throughout the LOVB Pro season, is required.
