Sales Operations Coordinator

Job description

About the Role

Imagine this. You are the engine behind a Business Development team competing in one of the fastest-moving and most demanding industries in the world. As our Indoor Sales Coordinator, you will bring structure, preparation, and momentum to the Commercial team, keeping our sales funnel accurate, our Business Developers prepared, and our commercial activity moving forward.

You will own the coordination behind meetings, events, CRM activity, sales materials, and reporting. From making sure the right meetings happen at major industry events to giving our BDs the information they need before walking into a customer conversation, your work will directly influence how effectively we compete and win.

At Destinus, we are shaping the future of defense through high-speed, autonomous flight systems designed for the demands of modern operations. We develop and deliver advanced interceptor and strike systems that combine speed, precision, autonomy, and efficiency. Working with government agencies and defense organizations worldwide, we are building next-generation technologies for mission-critical operations and redefining what is possible in defense aerospace.

What You’ll Do

Sales Funnel & CRM Management

  • Own the day-to-day management of our sales funnel in the CRM, keeping opportunities, stages, contacts, and next actions accurate and up to date
  • Keep CRM data clean and reliable, following up with BDs for updates, closing stale records, and making sure the funnel reflects commercial reality
  • Produce funnel and pipeline reports and proactively flag stalled, slipping, or at-risk opportunities
  • Maintain CRM views, pipelines, templates, and simple automations that make the sales process faster and more effective

Event & Meeting Planning

  • Plan and coordinate BD meetings around trade shows, conferences, customer visits, and industry events, creating efficient and well-organised itineraries
  • Maximise the impact of every event by pre-booking meetings with relevant contacts and making sure each engagement has a clear objective
  • Own the coordination behind invitations, confirmations, scheduling, calendars, and follow-ups so nothing gets lost along the way
  • Work ahead of the BD team, anticipating what needs to happen before, during, and after key commercial events

BD Readiness & Sales Enablement

  • Make sure our BDs arrive at every customer conversation fully prepared with current pitch decks, one-pagers, product information, and relevant commercial materials
  • Maintain a central and version-controlled library of sales materials and work with Marketing and Product to keep content accurate and current
  • Prepare concise briefing packs covering account background, key contacts, previous interactions, and meeting objectives
  • Help turn commercial information into practical tools that make our BD team more effective in the field

Sales Data & Analytical Support

  • Provide practical data and analytical support by pulling reports, creating simple dashboards, and tracking pipeline and activity metrics
  • Prepare account history, previous interactions, and relevant data before meetings and events to sharpen customer conversations
  • Support forecasting and management reporting with clean and reliable commercial data
  • Identify straightforward trends, gaps, and opportunities that help BDs understand where to focus their time

Team Coordination & Administration

  • Be the reliable internal point of contact for the BD team, keeping communication moving between field teams, the office, and supporting functions
  • Coordinate closely with Marketing, Product, and the wider Commercial organisation to keep sales activity connected
  • Take ownership of the commercial administration that keeps the sales engine running smoothly
  • Bring structure and follow-through to a fast-moving environment where priorities can change quickly

Requirements

What You’ll Need

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent, or a relevant vocational qualification combined with hands-on sales support experience
  • Around 2 to 4 years of experience in sales support, sales coordination, inside sales, commercial administration, or a comparable role
  • Experience working with CRM platforms and an interest in keeping commercial data accurate, structured, and useful
  • Strong organisational and coordination skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities, stakeholders, and deadlines
  • Confidence working with data, including a good working knowledge of Excel and basic reporting or BI tools
  • Strong communication skills and a proactive, service-minded approach to supporting a field-based sales team
  • Fluent English, with another European language considered an advantage
  • Eligibility to obtain or hold the required security clearance within an EU member state

Who You Are

You thrive when there are a lot of moving parts and you are the person bringing them together. You are organised, proactive, and dependable, and you take real satisfaction in helping others perform at their best.

You do not wait to be chased. You spot what is missing, follow through, and make sure the details are handled before they become problems. CRM data, schedules, briefing packs, sales materials, and event logistics are not just administration to you. They are what enable a commercial team to move faster and make better decisions.

You communicate clearly, enjoy working across different teams and cultures, and stay composed when priorities shift. Most importantly, you want your work to have an impact and you are excited by the challenge of helping Destinus compete and win in the global defense market.

Security screening is an integral component of the selection process, ensuring that candidates meet the organization's security standards and safeguarding against potential risks.
