Employment Type: Hybrid Full-Time, Exempt

At Petfolk, we’re reshaping veterinary care by blending exceptional medicine with hospitality-level experiences. We’re building a network of care centers led by empowered doctors, and we’re looking for a Regional Medical Partner (RMP) to help lead the way.

As an RMP, you’ll oversee the medical quality, growth, and culture of multiple Petfolk Care Centers (PCCs). You’ll coach Partner Doctors, support associates, and collaborate with operations to ensure that every hospital delivers outstanding patient care and client experiences—while also achieving financial success.

What You’ll Do

  • Lead & Mentor: Support and coach Partner Doctors and associate veterinarians, fostering clinical excellence, leadership growth, and strong hospital culture.

  • Drive Medical Excellence: Ensure quality medicine through medical record auditing, controlled substance compliance, and ongoing training.

  • Grow the Business: Partner with operations and business intelligence to achieve financial and clinical goals (Revenue, service mix, utilization, and client growth).

  • Collaborate Across Teams: Work closely with Talent Acquisition, HR, Marketing, and Finance to recruit top talent, launch new services, and optimize hospital performance.

  • Hands-On Practice: Opportunity to maintain clinical practice a few days each month

  • Champion Petfolk’s Mission: Represent the veterinary profession both within Petfolk and in the broader community, embodying the highest standards of ethics and care.

What We’re Looking For

  • Veterinarian (DVM/VMD/equivalent) with active license and DEA registration in good standing.

  • 8+ years of experience in veterinary medicine, with 3+ years in leadership (multi-site management preferred).

  • Strong business and financial acumen, with the ability to interpret metrics and coach others to results.

  • Exceptional communicator and relationship builder, skilled at cross-departmental collaboration.

  • Entrepreneurial spirit with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, evolving environment.

Why You’ll Love This Role

  • Lead at the cutting edge of veterinary medicine and operations in a modern, growing company.

  • Impact the careers of future veterinary leaders through mentorship and coaching.

  • Be part of a mission-driven team redefining how pets, families, and veterinary professionals experience care.

Travel Requirements

  • Up to 50% travel within the assigned region, primarily local and regional
  • Occasional overnight travel to other markets within the region, as business needs dictate
  • Periodic weekend travel may be required to support new site openings
  • Attendance at departmental and company-wide strategic meetings, which may occur at headquarters or other designated locations on occasion.
  • Overnight requirements are limited, as most locations are within metropolitan areas

Compensation & Benefits

  • An annual performance based bonus, sign-on bonus and/or equity grant units may be provided as part of the compensation package.
  • Performance Bonus, Sign-On Bonus & Equity opportunities
  • Comprehensive medical, dental, and vision insurance
  • 401(k) retirement plan
  • Generous PTO and CE allowance
  • Pet care discounts
  • Professional development and leadership training opportunities

We believe in working together to be the beacon in the industry by reshaping vet care as we know it. When too often the veterinary care experience falls short, we’re here to make it better for everyone: pets, their parents, and Vets alike. We encourage you to join and grow with us!
