About this role in the team:
Due to our expanding business, there is an increased demand for multiple Compliance Onboarding Analysts to join the Team on an initial 6 month contract basis. The role requires a high level of initiative, as well as expertise in a FinTech environment and cooperation with corporate clients. This role requires high attention to clients needs, self education and self organization. This role will form part of our global team, and will work closely with Operations, Trading Team, Sales, and Management.
Key Areas of Responsibilities:
- Review individual customer applications and verify KYC documentation in line with internal policies and regulatory requirements.
- Conduct Sanctions, PEP, and Adverse Media screening, investigate potential matches, and resolve alerts appropriately.
- Perform CDD and EDD reviews, with a particular focus on high-risk applications, identifying red flags and assessing customer risk profiles.
- Make risk-based onboarding decisions and recommendations, escalating complex or high-risk cases in line with internal policies and risk appetite.
- Request additional information where required and support a smooth, efficient, and compliant customer onboarding experience.
- Maintain accurate customer records, screening results, risk assessments, and decision rationale to ensure audit readiness.
- Identify opportunities to improve screening processes, case handling, and onboarding efficiency.
What we need from you:
- Fluent in English, with strong written and verbal communication skills.
- At least 2 years of KYC onboarding or customer screening experience in payments, fintech, banking, or FX.
- Strong understanding of KYC, AML, CDD, and EDD requirements for individual customers.
- Hands-on experience with Sanctions, PEP, and Adverse Media screening, including high-risk case reviews, alert investigation, and escalation.
- Strong analytical and investigative skills, with sound risk-based judgement and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple cases, meet SLAs, and balance compliance requirements with a positive customer onboarding experience.
Nice to have:
- Experience supporting Know Your Business (KYB) onboarding, including reviewing business documentation, identifying Ultimate Beneficial Owners (UBOs), and understanding corporate ownership structures.
