As a Marketing Science Analyst, your curiosity never ends. The next question is always on your mind, helping you to understand how marketing science fits in the big picture of a project. You bring in 1 to 3 years of experience, owning marketing science deliverables across a broad range of initiatives, and focusing on at least two of the following areas: tracking and measurement, implementation, reporting, data visualization, testing and evaluation, data integration, or statistical modeling. You understand the nature and purpose of the main digital marketing channels, enjoy collaborating with others, and are able to communicate clearly and effectively.
You will support an account that focuses on media performance, measurement, reporting, data visualization, and activation. You will work closely with analytics leadership and client teams to build reporting, uncover insights, improve measurement, and make sure data is used to guide real marketing decisions — not just decorate slide decks.
You will:
- Turn data into actionable insights through storytelling and data visualization.
- Analyze media and site performance to identify trends, explain changes, and recommend optimizations.
- Build, maintain, and improve dashboards, recurring reports, and ad hoc analyses across media performance, campaign activity, and business outcomes.
- Gather, validate, and QA data from analytics platforms, media platforms, dashboards, databases, and other relevant sources.
- Support measurement strategy, including KPI definition, reporting requirements, tagging needs, testing plans, and performance frameworks.
- Collaborate with media, strategy, creative, account, project management teams and partner agencies to connect data to broader marketing decisions and deliver comprehensive solutions to both internal and client requests.
- Present findings to internal teams and clients in a clear, confident, and approachable way.
You have:
- 1-3 years of experience in marketing analytics, digital analytics, media analytics, business intelligence, consulting, or a related field.
- Experience analyzing media performance, campaign results, customer journeys, or digital marketing effectiveness.
- Experience with at least one digital media platform (e.g.: Google Campaign Manager, Google Ads, Facebook Insights, Search Ads 360, etc.).
- Understanding of digital media channels (e.g.: Social, SEM, SEO, OLV, Programmatic Display, etc.) including how each one works and how they interact with one another.
- Expertise with at least one of the following engineering skills: database management, data architecture (ETL/data integration), setting up data connections with media tools, implementing data governance processes, automated data ingestion.
- Experience working with Excel to clean, query, analyze, or automate data.
- Experience with at least one of the following analytics and visualization tools such as Adobe Analytics, Google Analytics, Tableau, Power BI, Looker Studio, or similar platforms.
- Has a baseline understanding of statistical analysis techniques and quantitative methods.
- Ability to efficiently manage multiple projects at the same time, proactively communicating needs, roadblocks, and statuses to the necessary people.
- High attention to detail and a strong sense of ownership over data accuracy, deliverable quality, and deadlines.
- Curiosity, collaboration, problem-solving instincts, and the judgment to know when a number is meaningful versus simply loud.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience working with SQL, Python, R, or other tools used to clean, query, analyze, or automate data.
- Familiarity with the function of data architecture, APIs, and API data calls.
