Job description
About PayJoy
PayJoy, a Public Benefit Corporation, is a mission-first credit provider dedicated to helping under-served customers in emerging markets to achieve financial stability and success. Our patented technology for secured credit provides an on-ramp for new customers to enter the credit system. Through PayJoy’s point-of-sale financing and card offerings, customers gain access to a modern quality of life. PayJoy’s credit also allows our customers to seize opportunities as micro-entrepreneurs, and acts as insurance for tough times. Through our cutting-edge machine learning, data science, and anti-fraud AI, we have served over 18 million customers as of 2025 while achieving solid profitability for sustainable growth.
This role

Supporting one of PayJoy’s Executives with significant external facing responsibilities, and frequent travel. This person will triage the Executive’s inbox, calendar, external meetings and travel, so no important request slips through and their time stays focused on what matters most.
Responsibilities

Inbox management

  • Daily inbox triage: flag what's urgent, draft or send routine replies, and route items to the right people.
  • Track open requests from third parties and follow up so nothing goes unanswered.
  • Calendar and gatekeeping
  • Own the calendar end to end: schedule, reschedule and protect focus time.
  • Screen and prioritize meeting requests from investors, lenders, partners, vendors and internal teams; decline or redirect when appropriate.
  • Be the point of contact for scheduling with third parties
  • Coordinate across time zones with external executives and their assistants.
  • Ensure all meetings have an agenda, that supporting materials are prepared in advance and attached to invites, and that attendees have confirmed attendance
  • External meetings

  • Support as needed for meeting prep: attendee background, internal pre-brief meetings, etc.
  • Handle logistics for in-person and virtual meetings, and track follow-ups.
  • Travel

  • Plan and book domestic and international travel: flights, hotels, ground transport, visas and itineraries.
  • Adjust plans quickly when things change, and process expense reports.
  • Ad hoc support

  • Timely and accurate submission of expense reports
  • Support partner meeting logistics and other special requests as needed.
  • Qualifications
  • 4+ years supporting C-level executives, ideally in finance, fintech, banking or a fast-growing company.
  • Full professional fluency in English and Spanish, written and spoken.
  • Strong judgment: you know what's urgent, what can wait, and when to say no on the executive's behalf.
  • Highly organized, proactive and detail-oriented; you anticipate needs before you're asked.
  • Discreet with confidential information.
  • Experienced with Google Workspace (Gmail, Calendar), Slack and travel/expense tools.
  • Comfortable working across U.S. and international time zones, with flexibility for occasional early or late hours.
  • Nice to have
  • Experience supporting more than one executive.
  • Familiarity with investor relations, capital markets or board processes.
  • Experience using AI or productivity tools for inbox and calendar management.
  • Benefits
  • 100% Company-funded Health and dental and vision discount plan for employees and immediate family members.
  • Life insurance.
  • Phone finance, Headphone, home office equipment and wellness perks.
  • 30 days of Christmas bonus
  • 20 days paid Vacation
  • 50% Vacation premium
  • 13% Saving funds
  • $2,000 MXN monthly grocery coupons
  • $2,000 USD annual Co-working Travel perk
  • $2,000 USD annual Professional Development perk
  • Catered lunches
