Pay: $35.00 - $42.00 per hour
Position Summary
McClintock Electric is seeking an experienced Industrial & Construction Electrician to install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems on commercial, industrial, and construction projects. The ideal candidate will possess strong electrical knowledge, hands-on field experience, and a commitment to safety, quality workmanship, and customer satisfaction. This role requires the ability to work independently and as part of a team while delivering reliable electrical solutions in fast-paced job site environments.
Responsibilities
- Install, maintain, and repair electrical systems, equipment, and controls.
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, schematics, and specifications.
- Install conduit, pull wire, terminate devices, and connect electrical equipment.
- Troubleshoot and diagnose electrical issues in commercial and industrial environments.
- Install and service lighting, power distribution, control systems, and related equipment.
- Ensure all work complies with NEC, local codes, and safety regulations.
- Maintain a safe and organized work environment.
- Communicate effectively with supervisors, project managers, contractors, and customers.
- Complete assigned projects efficiently while maintaining quality standards.
- Assist in training and mentoring apprentice electricians as needed.
Qualifications
- Minimum of 4 years of experience in commercial, industrial, and/or construction electrical work.
- Strong knowledge of electrical systems, construction practices, and code requirements.
- Ability to read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications.
- Experience installing conduit, wiring, panels, switchgear, and electrical devices.
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent organizational and communication skills.
- Valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
- OSHA 10 or OSHA 30 certification is a plus; candidates without certification must be willing to obtain it.
Physical Requirements
This position requires the ability to:
- Lift heavy materials and equipment.
- Work from ladders, lifts, and elevated work platforms.
- Stand, bend, kneel, and work in physically demanding environments.
- Perform indoor and outdoor work in varying weather conditions.
- Safely perform all duties in accordance with company and OSHA safety standards.
