Job Summary
To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Director – Quality located in Sriperumbudur, Chennai.
What a typical day looks like:
- To monitor the Manufacturing Process Quality performance for all products
- Drive processes towards achieving the targeted yield performance, working with team Monitoring, Process and Product quality audits and drive closure properly
- Establish processes in line with the customer requirement (NPI to Mass Production) and constantly improving results
- Single Point of Contact for all customer related queries on quality aspects
- Regular interactions and reviews with customers on metrics and driving actions towards the results
- Prepares and implements QA Policies and Procedures.
- Reports progress to customers as required. Maintains contact with customers to ensure their business needs are met or exceeded.
- Responsible for product reliability testing and results
- Reviews discrepancy reports and implements corrective actions.
- Evaluates content of reports from product assurance program department heads and confers with top management in formulating fiscal budget for product assurance program.
- Confers with engineering about quality assurance of new products designed and manufactured.
The experience we’re looking to add to our team
- Minimum 15+years of experience in managing Quality operations as a Quality Head.
- Experience in Electronics manufacturing industry and SMT background required.
- Ability to read, analyze, and interpret the most complex documents.
- Ability to respond effectively to the most sensitive inquiries or complaints.
- Ability to write speeches and articles using original or innovative techniques or style.
- Ability to make effective and persuasive speeches and presentations on controversial or complex topics to top management, public groups, and/or boards of directors.
