Schedule: Monday - Friday 7am - 4pm; occasional weekends for emergency jobs
Sila Heating, Cooling, Plumbing, and Electric is seeking a dependable, safety-minded CDL A Driver/Laborer—to join our growing field operations team. This hybrid role requires a confident professional who can safely operate heavy trucks and participate in manual labor. The ideal candidate is safety-conscious, physically capable, and experienced with operating 6-wheel and triaxle dump trucks with air brakes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Safely operate 6-wheel and triaxle dump trucks with air brakes.
- Haul heavy equipment using trailers; secure and transport earth-moving machinery.
- Assist in site preparation and pipe laying activities as needed.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic mechanical checks.
- Step in with manual labor (e.g., shoveling, grading) to support crew operations.
- Follow safety protocols, communicate effectively with team members, and maintain a clean and organized work site.
Qualifications:
- Valid CDL A license with air brake endorsement (Tanker endorsement is a plus).
- Proven experience driving 6-wheel and triaxle dump trucks.
- Experience hauling and loading/unloading equipment trailers.
- Site work, plumbing, or pipe laying experience is a strong plus.
- Willingness to contribute to labor-intensive tasks when needed.
