Job description

We are seeking an experienced and commercially driven Branch Manager to lead our Gauteng South Africa office. As the senior leader for the branch, you will be responsible for driving business performance, operational excellence, client satisfaction, and team success while ensuring compliance with South African immigration regulations and company standards.

The successful candidate will bring a strong blend of people leadership, client relationship management, operational expertise, and commercial acumen to support sustainable growth, strengthen client partnerships, and deliver exceptional immigration solutions.

As our Branch Manager, you will be required to: 

Leadership & Team Management

  • Lead, mentor, and develop a high-performing immigration team.
  • Drive employee engagement, performance management, coaching, and succession planning initiatives.
  • Ensure appropriate workforce planning and resource allocation to support operational requirements.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous improvement, and service excellence.

Client Relationship Management

  • Serve as the senior escalation point for complex client, case, and operational matters.
  • Build and strengthen relationships with corporate clients through proactive account management.
  • Partner with clients to understand their immigration needs and deliver exceptional service solutions.
  • Maintain high levels of client satisfaction and retention.

Operational Excellence

  • Oversee daily branch operations to ensure efficient service delivery and achievement of key performance indicators.
  • Monitor service quality, compliance standards, and SLA commitments.
  • Drive process improvements to enhance productivity, efficiency, and client experience.
  • Ensure effective management and distribution of caseloads across the team.

Immigration Expertise & Compliance

  • Provide guidance on complex South African immigration matters.
  • Maintain strong knowledge of immigration legislation, policies, and regulatory requirements.
  • Engage with immigration authorities and relevant stakeholders to facilitate application outcomes and resolve complex matters.
  • Promote best practices and compliance across all operational activities.

Strategic & Commercial Leadership

  • Develop and execute branch business plans aligned with organizational objectives.
  • Identify opportunities to expand existing client relationships and support business growth initiatives.
  • Build strategic partnerships and represent the organization within the immigration and business community.
  • Contribute to regional planning, organizational development, and operational strategy.

Financial Management

  • Manage branch budgets, financial forecasts, and operational costs.
  • Monitor financial performance and implement initiatives to improve profitability and operational efficiency.

To apply for this role, you should possess the following skills, experience and qualifications: 

  • Bachelor's degree or equivalent qualification in Business, Law, Human Resources, Immigration, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 5 years' experience in a leadership or management role.
  • Demonstrated experience within the South African immigration industry.
  • Strong understanding of South African immigration regulations and procedures.
  • Proven experience managing client relationships, service delivery, and operational performance.
  • Experience in business development, client retention, and account management.
  • Financial management experience, including budgeting and forecasting.
  • Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and problem-solving skills.

 

This role is an in-office position based at our Gauteng, South Africa offices
