Job description: ### **Overview** **ClaimSorted (YC S24)** is hiring an **AI Engineer** to build the AI platform powering insurance claims – helping people get support during life’s most critical moments ### **Built for Life’s Hardest Moments** **Insurance exists to support people at their most vulnerable** – after loss, illness, or crisis. Yet too often, the systems behind it fail when they’re needed most. ClaimSorted is fixing that. We power the world’s insurers with technology and expertise that turn claims into moments of care, not confusion. By combining AI with human empathy, we help people get the support they deserve – quickly, accurately, and with compassion ### **Responsibilities** * Build AI systems that improve accuracy, speed up assessments, and enhance customer experience * Work with insurance specialists to turn claims processes into AI-driven workflows * Deploy solutions using LLMs at scale ### **Requirements** * 2+ years of experience in AI/ML engineering or research. * A proven track record of delivering AI/ML projects from concept to production, improving key company metrics. * Passion for shipping quickly * Great at working with non-technical users * Comfortable with chaos ### **Perks** * Skilled Worked visa sponsorship in the UK * 30 days of remote work annually * 28 days of leave annually * Health Insurance * Company offsites * Be part of a passionate team solving hard problems * Work closely with founders and learn how to scale a startup from 0 to 1. * Help build the engineering team and shape the company culture of a YC-backed startup
