Everfox delivers trusted connectivity to protect the world’s most critical environments and safeguard the sensitive data powering decision advantage.

Built for mission-critical operations, Everfox protects what matters most by securing how data moves, how users access it, and how threats are neutralized across every domain. We enable mission speed and secure collaboration across networks, domains, and allies, while ensuring the data powering AI and advanced analytics remains trusted and protected.

We don’t just defend systems; we deliver decision dominance.

  • Our Purpose. Protect what matters most by enabling organizations to operate security in the most complex and high-risk digital environments.
  • Our Vision. To be the most trusted authority in high-assurance cybersecurity, enabling secure collaboration across every domain.
  • Our Belief. Security should never limit mission success – it should enable it.

Our Promise. We deliver absolute confidence in environments where failure is not an option.

We’re hiring for a hybrid role. You’ll work on-site with your team several days each week (typically 2–3), with the specific days set by your manager. Because regular in-person collaboration is central to this job, we look for candidates who live within about 50 miles of the office.

Everfox will consider reasonable accommodation as required by law.

Everfox is seeking a seasoned Accounting Operations Specialist with recent, hands‑on Workday Payroll Administrator experience to support U.S. bi‑weekly and U.K. monthly payroll cycles. This role requires a candidate who can immediately operate within the Workday Payroll Administrator security role, troubleshoot payroll issues, configure earning and deduction codes, and understand how compensation plans and benefits flow into payroll results.

This position partners closely with HR, HRIS, Benefits, Finance, and OSV to manage payroll execution, technical troubleshooting, audits, reconciliations, compliance, and continuous improvement. While payroll will remain the primary focus, the role also supports broader accounting operations to ensure team capacity and continuity.

This role requires someone who can plug and play with minimal ramp‑up time and has current Workday experience within the last 1–2 years (as emphasized in team guidance).

Key Responsibilities

Workday Payroll Administration (Primary Focus)

• Operate within the Workday Payroll Administrator security role to support payroll processing and configuration.
• Troubleshoot Workday payroll issues, perform root‑cause analysis, and collaborate with HRIS and OSV on technical resolutions.
• Configure, update, and maintain earning codes, deduction codes, tax elements, and related Workday Payroll objects.
• Understand and manage how compensation plans, benefits plans, and time/absence data flow into earning codes and final payroll results.
• Review Workday transactions (hires, job changes, comp changes, benefits updates, time, absence, address changes) for payroll impact.
• Support Workday testing for releases, configuration changes, payroll updates, and new functionality.
• Maintain accurate payroll documentation, procedures, and operational checklists.

Payroll Operations (U.S. & U.K.)

• Independently support U.S. bi‑weekly payroll processing and U.K. monthly payroll cycles.
• Gather, validate, reconcile, and approve payroll inputs with a high level of accuracy.
• Process off‑cycle payments, manual corrections, retrocalcs, and adjustments.
• Partner with OSV to resolve settlement issues, configuration questions, or exceptions.
• Manage and respond to payroll inquiries, including case volume from employees, managers, and cross‑functional partners.
• Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local U.S. regulations and develop strong working knowledge of U.K. statutory requirements (pension rules, statutory benefits, offsets, monthly cycle expectations).

Year‑End & Year‑Start Activities

• Support W‑2 processing, year‑end validations, tax updates, benefit rollovers, and payroll reconciliations.
• Work with internal teams and external providers to ensure accuracy of annual reporting.

Cross‑Functional Partnerships

• Partner with HR on employee changes, corrections, and payroll‑related issues.
• Collaborate with HRIS on technical troubleshooting, configuration adjustments, and system improvements.
• Support Accounting and Finance with payroll reporting, reconciliations, and documentation.
• Engage with OSV for Workday‑related technical support and troubleshooting.

Accounting Operations Support (Secondary Scope)

• Provide backup support for Accounts Payable and broader accounting functions.
• Assist with reconciliations, operational reporting, and workflow optimization.
• Participate in cross‑training across accounting operations to support team flexibility and business continuity.

Required Knowledge & Skills:

• Recent (within last 1–2 years) Workday Payroll Administrator experience required
• Proven ability to troubleshoot Workday payroll issues and support configuration.
• Experience setting up and maintaining earning/deduction codes and understanding system flows.
• Strong understanding of payroll operations, auditing, adjustments, and reconciliations.
• Experience with multi‑state U.S. payroll.
• Exposure to U.K. payroll preferred; willingness to expand capability required.
• Ability to partner with HRIS and OSV on technical and functional Workday items.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and payroll reporting tools.
• Strong attention to detail, follow‑through, and urgency in meeting deadlines.
• Ability to function independently in a fast‑paced payroll environment.

Preferred Characteristics:

• Ability to “plug and play” with minimal ramp‑up time.
• High level of accountability and ownership.
• Strong functional + technical Workday payroll mindset.
• Eagerness to grow in technical Workday capabilities and accounting operations.
• Adaptable and comfortable in a dynamic environment.

A reasonable estimate of the base salary range for this role is:

$90,500.00-118,500.00 USD

The actual salary offered may vary within the range based on a candidates' unique experience, locale, and business needs. In addition to a base salary and bonus plans, Everfox offers a generous benefits package including flexible PTO, a 401k match, and contribution to healthcare coverages.
