International Battery Company (IBC) is constructing unique I-NMC Prismatic cells in India at the planned non-captive Gigafactory. Because of their big form factor, IBC cells reduce battery complexity while providing 40% more energy density than LFP cells. They are also recyclable. These cells will be ideal for mobility applications (EVs). The supply chain will be localized and secure, allowing for energy independence.
