Our mission at HealthLeap is to improve global health through better nutrition. We're addressing one of the most significant contributors to global deaths by building a clinical assistant to help healthcare professionals better treat/prevent disease-related malnutrition — the ''silent killer'' that worsens health outcomes for nearly all sick patients. It is associated with a 3-5x increase in mortality during a hospital stay and affects 30-50% of all hospital patients, but only 5% are diagnosed.
