Founded in 1994, they chose the name Gigs to represent their interest in music as well as their software consulting business. Then located in the San Diego, CA area, they backed local bands, wrote software to track bookings of shows, and worked with Java servlets for streaming music on the web (before the days of MP3 and iTunes). Over the years they have expanded their business to include a variety of products and services for a variety of markets.
