Founded at the TETRIS headquarters in Honolulu, AreaMetrics began as a consumer-facing mobile app that used Bluetooth beacons to offer location-based restaurant recommendations to more than 250k users. We've installed thousands of beacons in businesses across North America. We realized that our large network of Bluetooth beacons could help app developers create more engaging apps, while simultaneously providing marketers and brands with precise geo-location data. This realization led to a new vision for our company - to create an international audience and a global network of beacons to enable high-quality location data insights. Today, we've mapped over 6 million Bluetooth beacons to give our customers highly precise data for geo-location intelligence. Our beacon coverage continues to grow, thanks to our app publisher-partner network.
