Job Summary:

Mercer Advisors is building one of the most ambitious client development organizations in the wealth management industry — and we need an experienced operator who can bring our programs to life in the field. As a Sales Enablement Specialist, you'll be a core member of the Enablement team, working alongside program leaders and Regional Vice Presidents (RVPs) to ensure our people have the tools, content, and training they need to perform at their best.

This is a role for someone who thrives at the intersection of content, communication, and process — someone who can take complex ideas and make them simple and actionable for a field sales organization. You'll be a builder and executor: translating strategy set by senior program leadership into materials, frameworks, and field experiences that drive real performance. A meaningful part of this role involves supporting our performance coaching capability — developing the practical tools that help our RVPs and managers coach with consistency and rigor. Should the organization invest in conversation intelligence technology, this person will lead that rollout.

Essential Job Functions for this role include:

Content Management & Playbook Execution

  • Build, organize, and maintain a centralized content hub that serves as the single source of truth for RVPs and program teams
  • Drive playbook adoption across the field — developing rollout strategies, tracking usage, and iterating based on field feedback
  • Ensure all sales collateral, talk tracks, and competitive positioning materials are current, organized, and aligned to Mercer brand standards
  • Partner with program leads to translate strategic direction into field-ready content and tools

Field Communications & Launch Readiness

  • Develop and manage communication cadences that keep field teams informed, aligned, and engaged
  • Own newsletter, launch communications, and field messaging in partnership with program managers
  • Support launch readiness for new programs, initiatives, and tools — coordinating training materials, timelines, and field-facing messaging

Performance Coaching Support & Frameworks

  • Build the practical tools of performance coaching in support of program leadership's strategic direction — including call scoring rubrics, skill progression frameworks, role-play structures, and deal review cadences
  • Support the development and rollout of coaching materials that help RVPs and managers coach with consistency and rigor
  • Partner with program leaders to ensure coaching frameworks are embedded into onboarding, ongoing development, and field communications
  • Track and report on coaching program engagement and adoption in collaboration with program managers
  • Should the organization invest in conversation intelligence or performance coaching technology, this person will own the evaluation support, implementation, training, and adoption strategy for that platform

Sales Technology & Tool Adoption

  • Monitor technology and sales tool adoption across all RVPs, identifying gaps and building targeted campaigns to improve usage
  • Contribute to the sales tooling strategy by surfacing field feedback and documenting needs for leadership
  • Support adoption tracking within programs in collaboration with program managers
  • Maintain working knowledge of the sales tech stack (CRM, enablement platforms) and serve as a resource for field questions

Enablement Operations & Analytics

  • Track enablement metrics and produce regular reports on content engagement, tool adoption, and program readiness
  • Contribute to the measurement of enablement impact on revenue outcomes — win rates, RVP ramp time, conversion metrics
  • Apply a RACI-aligned operating model: own R/A on content, communications, and tool adoption; serve as C on strategy, execution optimization, and program-level KPIs

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities:

  • 7+ years of experience in sales enablement, revenue operations, or a closely related field,  ideally within financial services or a distributed sales organization
  • Demonstrated experience building performance coaching frameworks from scratch, including call scoring rubrics, skill progression models, and role-play or deal review structures, in support of a field sales organization
  • Proven ability to design and manage content libraries, playbooks, and field communications for a distributed sales team
  • Strong project management skills, comfortable running multiple workstreams simultaneously and delivering against deadlines without constant oversight
  • Experience with CRM tools (Salesforce preferred) and enablement platforms
  • Familiarity with conversation intelligence or performance coaching technology (e.g., Gong, Chorus, Salesloft),  prior implementation experience a plus
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills, you write clearly, concisely, and with purpose
  • Comfortable operating in a fast-moving, high-growth environment where priorities shift and ambiguity is part of the job
  • Collaborative by nature, you build relationships across teams and can drive outcomes without formal authority
  • A genuine interest in the wealth management industry and a desire to grow within a market-leading firm

Work Schedule:

This professional role requires availability during standard business hours of Monday through Friday from 8AM to 5PM.  At times, the role may have early or late hours to meet business tasks and deadlines for external and internal client needs.

Working Conditions:
