**Job Overview**
LunaJoy is seeking an experienced **Psychiatric Mental Health Nurse Practitioner (PMHNP)** who specializes in women’s mental health and can provide both medication management and psychotherapy. In this role, you will have the autonomy to manage a caseload of patients, utilizing evidence-based approaches to support women across reproductive and postpartum stages.
**Responsibilities:**
* Conduct comprehensive psychiatric evaluations, diagnoses, and treatment planning for women across various life stages.
* Provide ongoing medication management, including initiation, monitoring, and adjusting psychotropic medications.
* Offer psychotherapy and counseling utilizing evidence-based therapeutic modalities.
* Collaborate with therapists and other healthcare providers to coordinate care and develop personalized treatment plans.
* Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions and treatment options.
* Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in accordance with legal and ethical standards.
* Facilitate referrals to other mental health services and resources as necessary.
* Participate in regular case consultations and supervision meetings.
**Qualifications:**
* Active Nurse Practitioner license with a specialty in Psychiatry (PMHNP-BC), in good standing.
* Licensed to practice in one or more of the following states: FL, TX, NC, GA, NJ, PA, IL, VA, DC, MD.
* Minimum of 2 years of experience providing psychiatric care and therapy, with a focus on women’s mental health.
* Proficiency in medication management, with an emphasis on psychopharmacology for women.
* Experience providing psychotherapy (CBT, DBT, IPT, or other evidence-based modalities).
* Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a patient-centered approach.
* Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a remote care team.
* Commitment to cultural competence and sensitivity in caring for a diverse patient population.
