Revolution Medicines is seeking a Business Systems Senior Manager, Procure to Pay to join the Information Sciences (IS) Enterprise Applications team. This role will serve as the primary technology partner and hands-on system owner for Coupa, Omnea, and related applications supporting Procurement and Accounts Payable (AP).
The role will own the application roadmap and lifecycle, including administration, enhancements, integrations, reporting, automation, controls, and production support, with a key priority of scaling procurement and invoice processes across global entities, including Europe and Japan/Asia Pacific (JPAC).
This individual will partner with Procurement, AP, Finance, Tax, Legal, Compliance, and regional teams to improve the experience from intake through purchasing and invoicing, strengthen data quality, and enable reliable downstream payment and reporting processes. Key responsibilities will include:
-
Own the Coupa and Omnea roadmap, configuration, enhancement backlog, and service delivery; prioritize investments with business partners based on value, risk, and global operating needs.
-
Administer and optimize Coupa supplier onboarding, catalogs and punchouts, requisitions, purchase orders (POs), receiving, approval hierarchies, invoicing, and procurement controls.
-
Partner with AP to improve PO and non-PO invoicing, two- and three-way matching, tolerances, exception resolution, credit notes, duplicate-invoice controls, and invoice approvals; support enterprise resource planning (ERP) posting, reconciliation, and payment-status visibility.
-
Design Omnea intake forms, questionnaires, conditional routing, approvals, notifications, and cross-functional reviews involving Procurement, Legal, Finance, Security, Privacy, and supplier risk.
-
Lead Coupa deployment and ongoing support for Europe and JPAC. Translate local entity, currency, language, tax, invoice, and approval needs into configuration and integrations, including e-invoicing where applicable, in partnership with regional Finance, Tax, AP, and Compliance.
-
Establish reusable country-onboarding standards, regional support coverage, and training; coordinate testing and releases across time zones.
-
Own functional integration design across Omnea, Coupa, ERP, identity, supplier-risk, and contracting platforms. Define data mappings, system-of-record ownership, status synchronization, error handling, monitoring, and reconciliation with integration engineers.
-
Identify and deliver automation using Workato or similar integration platforms, including workflow orchestration, exception routing, and reconciliation; apply reusable patterns, controlled testing, and production monitoring.
-
Leverage artificial intelligence (AI) to simplify procurement and AP processes, reduce manual effort, and improve the user experience while maintaining appropriate data privacy, controls, and human oversight.
-
Build and maintain Coupa reports, dashboards, and scheduled reporting for spend, open POs, commitments, invoice aging and exceptions, approval cycle times, supplier activity, and adoption; validate results with Procurement and Finance.
-
Partner with data engineering and analytics teams to deliver procurement and AP data to a data lake or lakehouse such as Databricks. Define datasets, business rules, refresh needs, access controls, and reconciliation requirements for trusted enterprise reporting.
-
Maintain Sarbanes-Oxley (SOX) and information technology general controls (ITGC), role-based access, segregation of duties, access reviews, audit trails, change approvals, testing evidence, and deployment procedures.
-
Lead requirements, solution design, system and user acceptance testing, training, deployment, and post-launch support; manage incidents, root-cause analysis, releases, vendor escalations, and support documentation.
-
Manage software vendors and implementation partners, including statements of work, budgets, licenses, timelines, and service levels. Track improvements in cycle time, invoice exceptions, data quality, user adoption, and integration reliability.
-
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent experience in Information Systems, Business, Finance, Supply Chain, or a related field.
-
9+ years of experience supporting enterprise business applications, with demonstrated ownership of procurement or finance systems and leadership of cross-functional implementations and enhancements.
-
Strong hands-on Coupa administration and configuration experience across purchasing, invoicing, supplier management, approvals, security, and reporting.
-
Strong understanding of procure-to-pay and AP processes, including receiving, invoice matching, exception management, accounting distributions, ERP integration, reconciliation, and payment-status flows.
-
Demonstrated ability to develop and troubleshoot Coupa reports and dashboards, understand underlying data relationships, and reconcile outputs to source transactions and ERP records.
-
Experience with Omnea or a comparable intake and orchestration platform, including forms, conditional routing, approvals, and cross-functional workflows.
-
Experience supporting global, multi-entity applications and knowledge of procurement and AP localization needs relevant to Europe and JPAC, including currencies, indirect taxes, invoice requirements, and regional approvals.
-
Working knowledge of application programming interfaces (APIs), software-as-a-service (SaaS) integrations, middleware, identity management, and master data, with demonstrated aptitude for building or extending automation using Workato or a similar platform.
-
Working knowledge of data lake or lakehouse concepts and platforms such as Databricks, including ingestion, data quality, access controls, and analytics; ability to define business data requirements and collaborate with data engineers.
-
Experience with data migration, production support, release management, SOX and ITGC controls, segregation of duties, and security and privacy requirements.
-
Strong analytical, stakeholder-communication, documentation, project-management, and vendor-management skills; ability to balance operational support with strategic delivery.
