Our team designs and operates the systems and processes that reconcile HRT’s trading with our various brokers and counterparties, and collaborates with multiple teams to research corporate actions, maintain commissions programs, and track all costs incurred by HRT’s trading.

Being a member of the Middle Office team means working within a tight-knit, highly productive unit. We're looking for someone who loves technology and wants to work on a variety of operational projects using whatever tools best solve the problem at hand. Due to the high volume of trades and complexity of our systems, we rely heavily on automation and seek candidates with exceptional attention to detail, excellent communication skills, and a can-do attitude.

Responsibilities

  • Work closely with external counterparties to monitor and resolve daily position, trade and cash discrepancies, supporting effective book management
  • Work closely with multiple internal stakeholders to identify and implement improvements to our current workflow

  • Reconcile daily position, cash, and PnL breaks in coordination with both internal and external parties
  • Research & process applicable corporate actions
  • Maintain and update the commission structures across all markets

Qualifications

  • 3-5 years of relevant financial markets industry experience preferably in connection with a Macro trading desk
  • Knowledge of Derivatives, Futures, Fixed Income or Rates products is a plus
  • Familiarity with CTM, ICELink, Markitwire or Repo Match preferred
  • Experience with Python and UNIX operating systems (we use Linux)
  • Experience with SQL and relational databases
  • Excellent cross-functional communication and collaboration skills
  • Ability to take ownership of your work, and admit and learn from mistakes
  • Ability to debug, analyze, and troubleshoot problems quickly under pressure
  • Comfort working independently in a fast-paced, high pressure environment

The estimated base salary range for this position is 120,000 to 160,000 USD per year (or local equivalent). The base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. This role will also be eligible for discretionary performance-based bonuses and a competitive benefits package.
