Job description

About Relling Systems

Relling Systems (YC S25) builds ready-to-deploy AI robot workcells for US manufacturers. We design and test in San Francisco and put systems to work on factory floors. This role is in person in Potrero Hill, San Francisco.

What you'll do

  • Design, build and test fixtures, end effectors and electromechanical assemblies for robot workcells.

  • Choose sensors and actuators, manage interfaces and check tolerances against real parts.

  • Use test results to improve reliability and document build and service steps.

What we're looking for

  • A hands-on mechanical, electrical or mechatronics project with clear personal ownership.

  • CAD, drawings and basic tolerance reasoning; comfort building and testing your design.

  • Formula SAE, Formula Electric, machine-shop or robotics team experience is useful; equivalent projects count.

How to apply

Apply with your resume and a short description of something you built. Project links are optional. Tell us what you owned, what failed and how you tested the fix. Coursework, student teams and personal projects count.
