Video is the most compelling medium ever invented. But even a single minute of video can take hours to make and expertise across multiple tools. AI is changing this forever, and how we create and consume video will look completely different in 2 or 3 years time. We’re building a creative tool for content engineers (think Cursor) along with the agentic infrastructure to scale that content to infinity (think Devin). We’re a small experienced team based in Soho NYC. Our investors include YCombinator, General Catalyst, Leonis Capital, Race Capital, and angels from Pika Labs, Meta, Roblox, and Adobe. “Yarn has changed how we think about video. I haven’t seen anyone else doing video like this with AI.” Varun Anand, Cofounder @ Clay\ \ **About the role** We’re building in stealth with world-class teams at companies like Clay and Shopify, and we’re looking for a founding product design role in-person in NYC. We’ve hit an inflection point on fit with our customers and now looking to aggressively grow the team across design, engineering, and AI.\ \ We looking for our first full-time product designer. We’re design-led and already have a strong visual designer and FE-eng capabilities in house – you will be part of a growing design team. We take design extremely seriously. Someone with an extremely good eye, the ability to reason and think creatively, able to push the boundaries of what’s possible, and have a founder mindset with strong equity.\ \ **Things you might work on immediately** * Design core agent interfaces and workflows. * Prototype new creative tool experiences using AI.\ \ _You might also_ * Help spec and design new motion graphics templates and models. * Design and write WebGL shaders for special FX. * Jump into CSS or micro-interactions to up the polish and delight in the product. * Collaborate with LLM engineers on building design and taste-heavy AI experiences. **How we work** * We believe in small, hard-working, talent-dense teams. * We deeply care about our customers and relentlessly iterate and collaborate with them. * We're generalists that enjoy picking up new challenges and learning new tech. * We prototype broadly across technologies and UXes, then make aggressive product plays.
