The Opportunity

As an Executive Advisor (EA), you will serve as the strategic business partner to a portfolio of dental practices.  You will work directly with Doctors and Office Managers to strengthen leadership, optimize operations, and drive sustained profitability.

  • This is not a passive consulting role.
  • This is hands-on operational leadership.

You will influence growth strategy, implement best practices, analyze financial performance, and align teams around a clear vision and measurable objectives.

What You’ll Do

Think & Act Like an Owner

  • Conduct operational audits and guide fraud protection for practices
  • Close performance gaps between current results and strategic targets

Mobilize & Develop Leaders

  • Build trusted relationships with Doctors and Office Managers
  • Coach Office Managers on leadership, accountability, and operational excellence
  • Provide clear communication around the “why” behind initiatives
  • Align teams around Accelerate Best Practices and consistent execution
  • Serve as escalation point and strategic advisor

Drive Operational Excellence

  • Implement and optimize internal Best Practice systems
  • Lead Operations Meetings, Executive Management Meetings, and support Board-level initiatives
  • Direct Office Managers in agenda creation and meeting effectiveness
  • Deploy Accelerate Partners and internal resources when needed
  • Lead structured training for Doctors, Office Managers, and teams

Leverage Technology & Systems

  • Provide expert-level guidance in Dentrix, Dentrix Ascend, Open Dental, and Eaglesoft
  • Support implementation and utilization of:
    • Accelerate University
    • Practice Management Software systems
  • Ensure adoption, accountability, and follow-through

Contribute to the Organization

  • Support operational content development and system refinement
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with internal departments
  • Engage in ongoing professional and industry development
  • Support additional strategic initiatives as assigned

What Makes You Exceptional in This Role

  • Have 5+ years of multi-site dental operations experience
  • Understand financial forecasting, budgeting, and P&L management
  • Can interpret business reporting and convert data into action
  • Possess strong knowledge of Dentrix, Dentrix Ascend, Open Dental and/or Eaglesoft
  • Are highly organized and tech-proficient (Google Workspace & Microsoft Office)
  • Communicate with clarity, confidence, and influence
  • Are resilient, adaptable, and energized by performance-driven environments

You don’t just observe problems, you solve them.

Reporting Structure

Reports to: Director of Practice Operations

Required Participation:

  • Operations Meetings
  • Executive Management Meetings
  • Board Meetings
  • Company & Department Training
  • Practice Visits (as determined by EA or DoPO)
  • Travel required based on practice needs.
